The Interview

Before we dive into the future, let’s rewind a bit! Tell us a story: what sparked your passion for your industry and led you to where you are today?

Chris Langley : As Chris Langley, my passion for the door and window industry was ignited by my early interest in interior design. Recognizing the significant impact that well-designed doors and windows can have on a space, I was driven to create Just Value Doors Ltd. My goal was to blend aesthetic appeal with functionality, providing solutions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

What core values and leadership principles have guided you in your journey as a CEO, and how have they shaped your approach to leading your company?

Chris Langley : Integrity, innovation, and customer focus are the core values that have guided my journey as the CEO of Just Value Doors Ltd. These principles have shaped a leadership style that prioritizes transparency, encourages creativity, and always puts the customer first. By fostering a culture that values continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, I lead my team to consistently achieve excellence.

Can you share a pivotal moment or challenge you faced as a CEO, and the strategies you employed to overcome it while maintaining your leadership vision and guiding your team?

Chris Langley : A pivotal challenge came during a market downturn, where demand unexpectedly slowed. To navigate this, I emphasized the importance of agility and resilience. We diversified our product offerings and enhanced our marketing efforts, focusing on the unique value we provided. By maintaining open communication and rallying the team around our core mission, we not only overcame the challenge but emerged stronger.

What advice would you offer to aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs who are looking to make an impact in their industries and lead their companies to success, based on your own experiences and insights?

Chris Langley : My advice to aspiring leaders is to remain steadfast in your vision but flexible in your approach. Understand the core needs of your customers and be ready to adapt to changing market dynamics.
