1. The publication and free interviews
Featured Leaders publishes professional interviews and editorial articles about leadership, business and related subjects. Public content is available for readers without purchasing a service.
A free interview may be offered directly or arranged as a second interview following a separate package purchase. There is no interview-publication fee under the Featured Leaders interview process. A directly invited participant does not need to purchase a package or opt into marketing.
Interview submissions are governed by the Interview Submission & Publication Agreement presented at submission. That agreement governs submission-specific matters if these general Website Terms differ from it.
Any separate package agreement continues to govern its promised deliverables and applicable remedies. These Website Terms do not place an order, authorise payment, change that agreement or remove rights because an associated interview is described as free.
2. Permitted use
You may read public content, share links and quote or otherwise use material to the extent permitted by applicable law or the relevant rights holder. Preserve accurate attribution and do not distort meaning or falsely suggest an endorsement.
You may not introduce malicious code, disrupt normal operation, attempt unauthorised access, bypass access restrictions, impersonate another person or use the Site to infringe rights or break the law. Automated requests must not impose abusive load or circumvent technical restrictions.
Bulk copying, harvesting and republication must comply with applicable intellectual-property, privacy and other laws. These terms do not claim ownership of all public facts or remove statutory exceptions for quotation, accessibility or other permitted uses. We may proportionately restrict abusive traffic to protect the service.
3. Intellectual property
Original editorial content, design and other protected elements may belong to the operator. Interview answers, photographs, logos and other materials may belong to participants or third parties and are used under the relevant permission or applicable law.
Publication does not transfer those rights to visitors. Unless legally permitted or authorised, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or commercially exploit protected material. Appearance of a person’s image or a company’s logo does not give permission to use it in your advertising or imply their endorsement.
For reuse enquiries, contact contact@featuredleaders.com.
4. Editorial standards and accuracy
Statements attributed to an interviewee reflect that person’s views and information at the relevant time. Titles, summaries and topic labels may be editorially prepared. They do not certify every claim or constitute an independent assessment of professional competence.
Preparation may use automation and AI-assisted tools, subject to human editorial review. We aim to preserve accurate attribution and meaning. Generated paraphrases must not be represented as verbatim quotations.
We may correct, clarify, update or reorganise material. Professional information can become outdated. Please verify matters important to your decisions with appropriate sources. Inclusion does not itself confer an award, accreditation or a recommendation to hire, invest or transact.
Content is general editorial information, not personalised legal, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice. No audience size, ranking, leads, sales or other commercial outcome is guaranteed merely by reading or appearing on the Site.
5. Related publications and commercial transparency
Featured Leaders, Leaders Perception and Leaders Thoughts are related publications within the same publishing project. Features across these sites should not be presented as recognition by several unrelated publishers.
Where an article or placement has a material commercial connection, including provision under a paid-package arrangement, we disclose that connection clearly where needed to avoid misleading readers. Describing the interview as free does not remove the need to disclose a relevant commercial relationship. No payment or referral permits invented facts, fabricated quotations or misleading credentials.
The interview agreement does not authorise republication on related sites, newsletters or social-media promotion. Additional uses require the relevant separate permission or other lawful basis.
6. Marketing and personal information
Visiting the Site, submitting an interview or accepting these terms does not subscribe anyone to marketing. Any optional marketing consent must be requested separately and used within its scope.
The Privacy Notice explains personal-information processing, including forms, publication and privacy rights. These Website Terms are not a blanket consent to processing.
7. External services
Links may lead to source material, company websites, professional profiles or other publications. Interview forms may be supplied by an external form provider. Other services have their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
A link is not an endorsement of all material at its destination. We do not guarantee the availability or accuracy of independently controlled websites, without excluding responsibilities that the law does not allow us to exclude.
8. Corrections and rights complaints
Contact contact@featuredleaders.com with the relevant URL or submission reference and an explanation of the concern. For a rights complaint, explain the right affected and your authority where acting for someone else. Provide only information reasonably necessary to assess the issue.
We review credible concerns and take appropriate action, which can include clarification, correction, restriction or removal. You do not need to accept these terms, submit a special form or surrender legal rights to make a request.
Publication withdrawal is handled under the interview agreement and Privacy Notice. Independent third-party copies may remain, without limiting legally required steps.
9. Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care in operating the Site but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free content. We may suspend access or remove content for legitimate editorial, technical, security or legal reasons, subject to relevant agreements and mandatory rights.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by independently controlled third-party conduct or reliance on general editorial information without appropriate verification. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence. Mandatory consumer and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
10. Changes and applicable rights
Changes apply prospectively and are identified by the updated date. Revised Website Terms do not retrospectively expand a content licence, consent or separately accepted agreement. Where new acceptance is required, posting revised text alone does not provide it.
Nothing prevents you from contacting a competent regulator or court or exercising mandatory rights under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent they can lawfully operate independently.
